Background: |
A medium bodied dry red showing subtle oak and spice flavours produced from Shiraz grapes grown at our Waterloo Vineyard.
Waterloo Vineyard was named after John Turnbull’s original
land grant at Sackville Reach which was destined to
become part of Dr. Fiaschi’s famous Tizzana Vineyards.
Aged in American Oak for 18 months. |
Tasting Notes: |
The aroma of the wine shows distinct cedar, blackberry and black pepper notes. In-mouth the moderate seed and oak tannins are well balanced against the lemon acidity and savoury flavours of the wine. |
