As a young fortified the wine showed delicate pepper, sweet cherry and plum aromas overlaid with a touch of oak. Medium bodied in the mouth with a soft mouthfeel, the sweet fruit flavours are balanced against a backdrop of subtle vanilla and chocolate french oak characters.this wine will benefit with at least five years bottle age with excellent cellaring potential beyond this. |
